FAQ

Frequently asked questions

.01

How long have you been a photographer?

I’ve been a professional photographer since 2010. Over the years, photography has taken me across Europe and the United States, capturing weddings and portraits in different cultures and settings.

What started as a passion quickly became my way of connecting with people around the world — and I still approach every celebration with that same curiosity and love for storytelling.

.02

What is your photography style?

Emotional, intentional, and natural.

On wedding days, I work with a documentary approach — capturing real moments as they unfold. When it’s time for portraits, I gently guide you through movement, memories, and meaningful prompts that bring out authentic reactions rather than stiff poses.

Romance should feel real — never forced.

.03

What makes working with you different?

I’m more than just your photographer — I’m someone who’s truly there for you.

With years of experience photographing weddings in the Riviera Maya, I help you feel calm, supported, and confident throughout the entire day. From building a realistic timeline to guiding you when needed (and stepping back when the moment calls for it), my goal is for you to feel present and taken care of — so you can actually enjoy your wedding.

Many couples have told me I was their steady anchor during the day — and that’s a role I take seriously.

.04

What does a wedding day with you feel like?

Calm. Easy. Unrushed.

Even during the busiest moments, I create space for genuine connection and natural flow. You won’t need to worry about what comes next — I help keep everything aligned so you can stay fully present in your celebration.

.05

Will you help us throughout the day or just take photos?

I’m there for you — fully.

I help you understand what to expect, guide transitions, and adapt when plans shift (because they always do). My job isn’t just to capture the day — it’s to support it.

.06

Do you help with the wedding timeline?

Yes. I work closely with you (and your planner, if you have one) to create a timeline that allows space for both structure and spontaneity. A well-designed timeline ensures you can be fully present while everything flows beautifully.

.07

How many hours of coverage do we need?

Most weddings require between 8–10 hours of coverage. During our consultation, I’ll help you determine what best fits your day and priorities.

.08

Do you offer custom wedding packages?

My collections are thoughtfully designed to serve most couples beautifully. However, every wedding is unique.

If there’s a specific vision or coverage need you’d like to explore, I’m always open to creating a tailored proposal that feels aligned and intentional for both sides.

.09

If I want you to capture my proposal, are you able to do it?

Absolutely — proposals are one of my favorite moments to photograph.

I’ll be your partner in crime, helping you build a thoughtful game plan, choose the perfect location, and keep the surprise intact. You focus on the question — I’ll make sure the moment unfolds beautifully.

.10

What is the best time for a shoot?

For both weddings and portraits, I strongly recommend scheduling around sunset.

The light is softer, the temperature is more comfortable, and you won’t be squinting under harsh sun. Sunset creates the most flattering and romantic atmosphere — especially in the Riviera Maya.

.11

Do I need authorization from my resort?

Most resorts in the Riviera Maya require authorization for external photographers.

I recommend contacting your concierge to ask about their policies and requesting written confirmation to avoid delays on the day of your shoot. If any additional fees apply, they will be able to clarify the details.

.12

What if I don’t want the shoot at my resort?

No problem at all.

As a local who has lived in the area for most of my life, I know beautiful locations with easy access throughout Cancun and the Riviera Maya — from quiet beaches to more adventurous settings.

.13

Should I expect any surprise extra charges?

No surprises.

Transparency is very important to me. If a location has an entrance fee or special requirement, I will communicate it clearly beforehand so everything is planned smoothly.

.14

What is included in the online gallery?

You will receive a private, shareable online gallery where you can:

– Download your edited high-resolution images
– Share them with friends and family
– Order professional prints if desired
All images are delivered fully edited in my signature style (color and black & white as selected).

.15

Can I receive all RAW images?

No — and that’s intentional.

I carefully curate and edit the strongest images from your session. Shooting in RAW allows me to deliver the highest quality final result, but unedited files are not provided under any circumstance.

I only deliver images I truly believe you will love.

.16

Are coverage hours continuous?

Yes. Coverage hours for both portraits and weddings are continuous.

.17

When will my photos be ready?

Portrait sessions: approximately 10 business days.
Weddings: 8–10 weeks, depending on the season and workflow.

.18

What is required to book my date?

For weddings:
A signed contract and a 30% retainer secure your date.

For portraits:
A $100 USD non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session.

.19

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

For portraits, the retainer is non-refundable but may be transferred depending on availability.

For weddings, a portion of the paid retainer will be retained in case of cancellation as outlined in the contract.

.20

Where are you based? Are you available for travel?

I’m based in Cancun, Mexico and work throughout the Riviera Maya.

I also travel worldwide for weddings and special projects — meeting new people and documenting new stories is one of the things I love most about what I do.
