Once again I returned to Dreams Playa Mujeres resort to capture Sky and Ian´s wedding.
I´ve met them a year before their wedding, they had come to Cancun to do some sightseeing, they decided to have a photoshoot, so Sky booked me through flytographer.
That´s when I´ve met them for the first time, I took them to Playa Delfines to have their photos taken for an engagement shoot, we had a fun time together.
A few months later Sky contacted me and asked me to be their wedding photographer, I was so happy, immediately I said yes, I knew it was going to be spectacular!
The day happened and I arrived at Dream Playa Mujeres, first I went to Ian’s room for his getting ready photos and then to Sky´s room it felt like seeing again old friends.
The day went beautifully, they were surrounded by their loved ones, a very intimate wedding but full of energy.
Whoever chooses Mia Reef as their wedding venue surely knows their special day is going to turn spectacular.
We took a ferry that brought us to Isla Mujeres to witness Leonela and Aaron Mia reef destination wedding. This was a small wedding full of love and surrounded by lovely people.

My video team and I arrived and got ready to start shooting, we were able to feel Aaron´s vibe since the moment we´ve met, in the other room Leoneal was getting ready, she was a little nervous but which bride won´t, is their special day, right?!
The moment happened and when Aaron saw Leonela for the first time lots of tears rolled down his cheeks, he got speechless.
It was such a beautiful ceremony, with perfect weather, timing, venue, place, date, and time, their photos turned awesome.
At the reception, spectacular speeches were said from the best man and maid of honor, everybody where amused. The dancing floor welcomed everyone and from the moment they started dancing, they never stopped.
We locked eyes and the entire room felt like it disappeared.
Roxy and Jared celebrated their wedding at Dreams Riviera Cancun, a very special and unique celebration surrounded by their very close friends and family. I´m totally sure these two souls were meant to be together.
We met at a country bar through mutual friends. We locked eyes and the entire room felt like it disappeared. We took it slow because we knew it was something truly special. The first night I met Jared, he jokingly tied a phone charger cord around my ring finger (in desperation for something round or “tie-able”) and told me he was going to marry me one day…and for some odd reason I believed him.

Only all those who witnessed their wedding can describe how their love surrounded the area, they both are so loved by too many people, the ceremony was so emotional, even their twins were there to witness their parents’ new journey as husband and wife from now on.
You spend most of your wedding day with just a few people…your bridal party, your spouse, and your photographer/videographer! So, it is extremely important to not only pick an amazing photographer/videographer duo that have an exceptional portfolio but also personalities!!! You want a duo that is capable of keeping your mood up and fun!!! I could not recommend Claudia and Rodrigo ENOUGH as the perfect duo for your big day!!!! They exceeded my expectations, went above and beyond, and made my husband and I feel like we were the only two people on the planet the day of bringing us fun, laughter, and romance! We’re not the easiest with photo shoots as two semi-awkward individuals and Claudia sure knew how to make us feel comfortable, confident, AND SEXY! We were very blessed to have this duo on our big day and will forever be grateful for their hard work, dedication, and beautiful memories! We plan to come back to Mexico on our 1-year anniversary and use them again!!!

This was a very special Finest Playa Mujeres wedding and I could not be more excited to share it with you! We spend 1 night at finest to shoot a complete wedding, including welcome dinner.

Under the Caribbean sun and the best beach view as the backdrop Finest Playa Mujeres, Xylina and Gabriel said, “I do” to a chorus of cheers, The bride and her bridesmaids threw their bouquets into the sky, and the groom was even lifted up by the groomsmen! I did have an amazing time with them.

Look so great together, I´ve met them a year before at NYC for their engagement pictures, so they already knew what to do to get the best out of them.
Something that defined this wedding was the slow-motion aspect since NYC they have allowed my creativity to run freely, I´m so thankful for that.
At the reception, they brought out their unique salsa moves into a special dance they had prepared previously.
